“Some stories aren’t just told—they’re lived. This is mine.”
Andrea Davis
Born on a sun-drenched April morning in 1984 Savannah, Georgia, Andrea’s life began in the embrace of love, legacy, and the layered complexity of family. But when home was lost and dreams shifted, she found herself navigating the raw realities of public housing, neighborhood politics, first love, heartbreak, and survival.
Andrea Davis was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, to Stephanie Davis and Andre Jason. The second oldest of eleven siblings, Andrea’s upbringing in public housing shaped her resilience, perspective, and the powerful voice behind her memoir. She is a proud mother of three beautiful children who are her greatest joy and motivation.
